Adaptavis partnered with the client to implement a structured change programme designed to achieve four key goals. First, the programme aimed to boost predictability by establishing clear delivery timelines. Second, it sought to enable faster value delivery through earlier and more frequent prioritisation. Third, the initiative focused on reducing overburden to improve employee satisfaction and address inefficiencies. Finally, it emphasised sustaining positive change by embedding lasting improvements in working practices.

To achieve these goals, several key steps were taken. Teams participated in Flow training, which included workshops and on-the-job coaching to enhance their understanding of workflow and improve collaboration. Metrics such as throughput and lead time were introduced as part of business instrumentation to track the impact of the changes.

Additionally, a system-thinking approach was adopted, leading to redesigned processes and the implementation of work-in-progress (WIP) limits to optimise delivery. Effective prioritisation techniques were also introduced, helping teams align their work with business priorities. This not only reduced delays but also significantly improved efficiency across the organisation.

Within months, the organisation had reversed its stagnation, achieving faster, higher-quality outputs with improved team morale and stakeholder confidence. By embedding systemic changes and fostering a culture of continuous learning, the client was equipped for ongoing success with minimal reliance on external consultants.
